We’re dependable, personable and highly motivated developers who’ve been in the profession for a combined period of around 40 years! During this time, we’ve acquired an incredibly broad skillset due to mainly working in teams where the focus is on versatility and self-sufficiency, helping to bring immersive products to life from storyboard to sign-off.
Over the last 10 years, our primary focus has been on creating dynamic and engaging XR experiences across various mediums, including virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality and web applications and filters.
Our expertise covers a wide spectrum, encompassing everything from 2D graphics, design and layout, 3D modelling and texturing, and coding in a range of languages, which we have honed to a professional level over a prolonged period.
We’re also highly proficient in motion graphics and animation, capable of producing captivating visuals that bring concepts to life, whether it’s adding a touch of creativity to a corporate video, crafting explainer animations, or designing visual effects.

Below is a detailed list of our areas of proficiency. Some items of software appear across multiple categories.
2D Graphics and Design
Used in pretty much everything that we do.
Software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Powerpoint
Motion Graphics & Animation
We can produce videos and motion graphics from the ground up across a vast range of mediums such as logo stings, showreels, explainer videos and social media content, as well as 360 videos.
We regularly include 3D elements in my work, occasionally using frame-by-frame rendering (Cinema4D), but more often using the real-time rendering capabilities of plugins such as Element3D and, with the advent of high-quality gaming graphics, engines such as Unreal and Unity.

3D Modelling and Texturing
We’re both capable modellers in 3DsMax, not only in creating and editing elements from the ground up, but also unwrapping, optimising and texturing high-poly models for use in game environments using Substance Painter and other 2D software.

Character Rigging and Animation
We consider the inclusion of characters essential in adding colour and depth to static 3D environments. We’ll also utilise 3D characters in video and motion graphics if we require a particular human pose, movement or otherwise that is not obtainable through stock footage.

Coding and Frameworks
Our skills are adept enough to effectively utilise code to both fully develop and enhance my applications within Unity and occasionally frameworks such as ThreeJS and Angular. Our main strength lies in the ability to navigate coding challenges and implement solutions efficiently.
We also enjoy using code to automate mundane and time-consuming tasks such as processing and exporting hundreds of individual models out of 3DsMax, for example.

Game Development Engines
Most apps on which we’re required to work are typically targeted towards lower-end devices. We develop primarily in Unity, although will use Unreal Engine for other purposes such as motion graphics. We also have experience of helping to develop other smaller AR filters and apps using services such as 8th Wall.

Project Management and People
Both of us are at our happiest when immersed in the creative process and developing content. However, we’re also a fully capable project managers and able to take large or small projects from storyboard to sign-off, whether managing an internal team or external freelancers.
We’re used to developing while utilising the Agile and Waterfall project workflows where the emphasis is on flexibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement, using Microsoft Dev Ops.
Both have also been a mentors to younger team members, providing hands-on guidance and giving constructive feedback in coding, design principles, and industry nuances.
